Welcome to the Belgrave South Toy Library!

About Us

Belgrave South Toy Library is a not for profit organisation run solely by volunteer members and overseen by its commitee made up of volunteer members.

Members have access to a wide range of toys , puzzles, games, costumes and play equipment that you can borrow and return - like you would with books at a library. Toys can be borrowed for a period of two weeks at a time. You can borrow up to six items (4 toys + 2 puzzles) at any one time with a family membership. Return and borrow toys as many times as you like! All families, grandparents and carers are welcome to join.

We also offer a Junior Party Pack and an Indoor Soft Play Party Pack that members and non-members can hire for an additional fee.

What does Belgrave South Toy Library offer?

We cater for children between the ages of 6 months-8 years old with:

Toys, puzzles and games which are age appropriate and cater to your child’s specific interests
Two party pack options to make entertaining at children's parties a breeze
A family-friendly, low pressure environment for your children to explore what toys interest them
An opportunity for you and your child to connect with other families in the local community

Want to hire a Party Pack?

Belgrave South Toy Library offers two different party packs for hire by members and non-members for an additional fee. Non-members are also asked to pay a $100 refundable bond. Party pack hire is for a 7 day period.

Current toy library members can reserve the party packs via the membership portal.

The Junior Party Pack costs $30 for members and $60 for non-members and includes:

Junior Rollercoaster
3 Carriage Pull along Train
Junior Slide
Junior Rocker
Tunnel

The Junior Party Pack is usually most fun for children around 1-4 years old. Children 5 years and older will likely exceed the safe weight limit for these items.

The Indoor Soft Play Party Pack costs $40 for members and $70 for non-members and includes:

Hart Rockinghorse
Hart Little Explorers Shape Set
Tunnel
Ball pit and balls (choice of pink or rocket themed ball pit)

The Indoor Soft Play Party Pack is usually most fun for children around 8 months - 3 years old.

For non-members, the party pack bond will be refunded after the items are returned clean and undamaged. Bond refunds may take 5-7 days to process.

Toy Library Hours

Tuesday 1pm-2pm
Thursday 9am-10am
Sunday 3pm-4:30pm

We are closed during the school holidays and on public holidays/long weekends.

Location

We are co-located with the Len Jeffrey Memorial Preschool in Belgrave Heights.
